Privacy policy.
This policy explains how we handle personal data when you contact us or browse this site, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
1. Who we are
[REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] Ltd (“Actusedge”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are a company registered in England and Wales (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]), with our registered office at [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS, London, UK]. Our ICO registration number is [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@actusedge.com.
2. The data we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your company
- Your role
- Your work email address
- Your area of interest and any message you choose to include
When you browse the site, our analytics provider collects aggregated, cookieless usage data (such as page views, referring site, approximate region, browser, and device type). This data does not identify you individually. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
3. How we use your data and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and send a confirmation email. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a request you initiated) and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- To understand and improve how the site is used. Legal basis: legitimate interests, using privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Resend — to deliver transactional and confirmation emails.
- Vercel — to host the website and provide cookieless analytics and performance metrics.
We may also disclose data where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your request, and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain a record of our correspondence. We then delete or anonymise it. Aggregated analytics data is retained in line with our provider’s standard retention periods.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict our processing of your data
- Request portability of data you provided to us
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@actusedge.com. We will respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
